I was an Apple II guy back in the day (mostly the IIGS) and wrote my share of 65C816 assembly. I've messed around with NES and SNES too (and even the Atari VCS a bit, when I'm feeling masochistic).

A clean new 65C816-based machine without legacy cruft is very exciting!
