Yes I have 2 or 3 PS2 mice and 2 or 3 PS2 keyboards laying around, but generally speaking these are more expensive than their USB counterparts. I know that it is a bit late to mention this but I just noticed this today. If you want a LONG LIFE for this , I think future revisions should at least have USB in addition. 10 years from now PS2 may not be available FOR ANY PRICE. I know that you are trying to preserve this 80's idea but these are just my thoughts.

@tim1724 you are right " only work with keyboards that can be convinced to speak native PS/2 " I forgot that part.
I guess even if the PS2 keyboard is diapering from the planet its not really difficult to emulate it. I wont complain for an usb port, but the usb protocol is a pain in the arse.
You are the BOSS ! It is your baby ! Looking forward to this.

@techristian ,
Yes, I will keep the PS2 as per the nature of the project, this is supposed to be a 1987 era type computer thus the PS2 stays.
Now, if in the future somebody wants to go out of their way to change the design, re-spin the board to include USB ports, so be it. I won't be the person to do it... It is very counter productive.
Cheers
